Christmas Question 12

Is there a question you think I should have asked?

Obviously I have no answer to this question or I would have already asked it!

Christmas Question 11

What is your favourite Christmas Film?

I'm not too sure about this one, but I do like Miracle on 34th Street. I realised that I can't think of that many Christmas films I have watched and enjoyed!

Christmas Question 10

Thanks to Lyn for ideas for last few questions, running out of inspiration.

What is your favourite Christmas food?

I love the whole turkey roast dinner, especially roast potatoes and parsnips, but not keen on Christmas pudding. I do like all the snacks, nuts and chocolate Mum always gets in!

Christmas Question 9

Is there anything you would like to have achieved by next Christmas?

Well, I am halfway through AS Accounting so obviously I'd like to get a good grade on that (but its a lot harder than I thought it would be!). The other thing is to get the whole job situation sorted.

Christmas Question 8

Have you done anything new this Christmas?

My sister and I have been learning to knit, Mum is a big knitter and we did make some rather disastrous attempts to follow in her footsteps many years ago, but we decided to give it another go after being seduced by an advert on tv! I am working on a scarf at the moment but my sister has already started a jumper, even though she hasn't learnt how to increase or decrease yet (I think there will be lots of phonecalls to Mum!).

Christmas Question 7

Do you make New Year's resolutions?

I used to make them when I was younger but they always seem a bit pointless as no one ever sticks to them. However I do tend to have a general resolution to be a better person, better christian, but who's to say whether I manage to achieve that!

Christmas Question 6

When was your most memorable Christmas?

I think mine is the year Ben was born. He was born on the 23rd and we went to stay on Christmas Eve so we got to see him at only 1 day old. It was a memorable time and he was so adorable (he's not quite so adorable now he is 8!).

Christmas Question 5

What games have you been playing this Christmas?

We have had the PS2 out, the parents aren't too keen on SingStar, but even Dad will play the Buzz general knowledge quiz. We also like to play traditional board and card games and two favourites are Flux and Carcassonne. This year we have discovered Apples to Apples which is good fun and the parents like it because they each won a game!

Christmas Question 4

Thanks to everyone for joining in!

What is your favourite Christmas song?

I like a lot of the christmas hits because of the memories they bring back, but one of my favourites is "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas". I also love the Pogues and Kirsty MacColl - "Fairytale of New York", though the words aren't too festive!

Christmas Question 3

What is your favourite carol?

I love "See Amid", but I think its not so much about the carol itself but the memories associated with it. Its the one which, when we sing it, my family always look at each other and smile.

Christmas Question 2

What was your best Christmas present?

I didn't get many real presents this year but have given school books, school uniform and school grant to Africa! The best present was one I bought for myself, a David Tennant Calendar to keep me happy all year round :>

Christmas Question 1

I thought 12 questions for the 12 days of Christmas, please all join in!

What has been the best Christmas TV this year?

I'm going for Doctor Who and the Vicar of Dibley. Doctor Who was as spectacular as ever and the Vicar of Dibley had me crying with laughter.
